Corrections

When a figure in a record does not match its source, the record is corrected and its Updated date changes.

  1. Check the source

    The reported row is compared with the linked manufacturer, retailer or standards page as it reads on the day of the check.

  2. Fix the row

    A wrong figure, unit, code section or date is replaced with the published value, and the checked date on that row is renewed.

  3. Keep the context

    When a source itself changed between versions, the record says which version it now follows.
